Where Nature Thrives and Honey Flows: My Visit to Milea Bee Farm in San Jose, Batangas Philippines

The first time I visited Milea Bee Farm, I didn’t expect it to leave such a deep impression on me. I thought it would simply be a pleasant countryside stop—some honey tasting, a few photos, and a quick walk around. Instead, it became an experience that reshaped how I view nature, sustainability, and even my role as a visitor in protecting the environment. From the moment I arrived, Milea Bee Farm felt less like a tourist destination and more like a living classroom where nature, community, and responsibility meet. As I stepped onto the farm, I was immediately welcomed by fresh air that smelled faintly of flowers and earth. The surroundings were calm and refreshing, a noticeable contrast to the noise and congestion of city life. The well-kept gardens, wooden structures, and open spaces gave the place a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Kubo Grill at Balaoan, La Union

Having an adventure up north always includes looking for a great place to eat. Depends on how adventurous one is, sometimes, you have to try to take a hard right hoping to find something interesting. After a great escapade somewhere in Ilocos Norte, we’re bound to Manila when we decided to look for a place to, not just to eat (we are starving after a 4-hour drive, we’re somewhere between Bacnotan and Luna, La Union) but to unwind and enjoy an open field scenery as we find it so relaxing. As we reach Balaoan Municipal Hall, (you will not miss this structure as it is massive compared to every establishment in the area) it is situated on the right side of Manila North Road if you’re Manila bound, we turn left on Balaoan Road, that road is in front of the Municipal Hall. Along Balaoan Road, you will see a simple establishment, the Kubo Grill, on the right side of the road guided by a huge tarpaulin sign that features all the food they can offer. Surprisingly, they offer a wide variety of f...

Summer is almost over, there were times that rain started falling and yet, it doesn’t stop anyone to venture an escapade! Trying to fulfill anyone’s goal during last days of summer, my “Huling Hirit sa Tag-init” should be as exciting as informative as any other summer escapade 😉 I have joined others to try to visit Baguio City and see as much as we can on a single day. ILove Adventours organized a Baguio Day Tour, let’s see how many sites they can arrange to fit within say 10 hours of Baguio visit 😉 We all decided to meet up at Caltex Station in Buendia as majority of us lives within the vicinity. It’s around 1 AM on a Saturday, we’re trying to get to Baguio before 7 AM to have 10 hours of roaming around the city until 5 PM 😉 As we left the meet-up site, a lot of us try to have as much decent sleep as we can to gather enough energy to roam the summer capital of the Philippines. Our first stop, the Lion’s head. The Lion's Head is a statue along Kennon Road, ...

It has been another year, my family and I wanted to celebrate the New Year somewhere refreshing, relaxing and peaceful ;-) We have searched places where we can spend our New Year celebration and our escapades pointed us in the right direction; The Piña Colina Resort in Tagaytay. Specifically located at Tolentino Ulat Road, Barangay Francisco, Santa Rosa - Tagaytay Rd, Tagaytay, Cavite, Piña Colina Resort is one of the more popular family-friendly resort destinations in Tagaytay City. As the name implies, Piña Colina is located atop a hill, with pineapple plantations and lush greens across the landscape.
